Join me for my return to the Bay Area for a solo exhibition of all new artwork. Opening reception will be held Friday October 4th, 5:30pm-8pm
All is creation - all is change encompasses many universal themes: embracing change, observing the recurrent acts of renewal, and noting and surrendering to the cycles and seasons of life.
Luminous encaustic paintings depicting moths, bees, wildflowers, and other natural imagery remind us that change and transformation can be a beautiful and captivating processes and that metamorphosis can be a type of transcendence.
Steeped in research on natural history, ecology, and the environment, collected ephemera and natural materials are used to create layers imbued with history, memory, and the delight of discovery. The multilayered and thought-provoking result allows the viewer to reflect on the mysteries of nature and the grace with which life embodies the only constant — change.
